Welcome back to a new school year in the Nursery.
Thank you for choosing our nursery, the children have all begun to settle brilliantly.
Our first topic is called ‘All about me’ and we will be exploring how the children have grown. We will be sharing baby photographs, special occasions, countries of origin, our families and our favourite things.
Colour of the week
We would also like the children to bring items that relate to the colour of the week giving them an opportunity to talk about their item - helping to develop confidence and language.
Red 23rd Of September.
Yellow 30th September.
Pink 7th October.
Green 14th October.
Purple 21st October.
28th Half Term
Orange 4th November.
Blue 11th November.
Tapestry
We use the online journal Tapestry regularly to communicate to you how and what your child is learning at school. You can also use it to tell us all about what your child is getting up to outside of school. We love to share their photos and activities with the whole class.
If you haven't started your account please speak to one of us to get you started.
Please make sure everything your child brings / wears to Nursery is named. All children must bring a coat as we will be going outside every day.
Please bring a healthy snack and drink for your child every day. Please remember we are a nut free school – this includes chocolate spreads with nut extract in and chocolate pancakes etc. Grapes to be cut length ways please.
Nursery starts at 8.30. The gates open at 8.20 and have to be locked to secure the school just after 8.30.
