We are looking forward to another exciting half term on the run up to the Christmas season!

Our topic this term is The Rainforest, and our class book for this term is Vetman and his bionic animal clan by Noel Fitzpatrick.

In Literacy we will be learning about Ernest Shackleton and the Endurance trip to Antarctic and will be writing Formal letters and Newspaper Reports.

In Numeracy we will be learning area and multiplication and division. 

In Geography we will be learning the Rainforest.

In Science we will be learning about electricity and building different circuits.

In Music we will continue to learn the Ukelele.

In Religious Education the Pentecost.  

In Art: Painting

In PSHE: Relationships – friends and families, safe relationships

In French: Weather

In DT: We will be making our own torches.

In History: Ernest Shackleton and the Endurance

Please continue to encourage your child to do their weekly maths homework, read for at least 10 minutes every night, learn their weekly spellings and practise their times tables.
