We have PE on a Wednesday and Friday; please ensure children wear their PE kits to school on PE days.

In English, we will be reading Cave Baby and I want my hat back. We will be working on our sentence structure and using Fred Talk to spell familiar words.

 In Maths, we will be learning about place value to 20. During this half term we will be counting, ordering, recognising and writing numbers within 20 to develop our mathematical skills ready to move onto number bonds.

In Science, we will be learning about the changing of the seasons and animals.

In Geography, we will be learning about the different continents around the world.

In RE, we will be learning about belonging and what it means to be part of a community.

In PSHE, we will be learning about friendships, families and working together.

In Art, we will be learning how to draw our own self-portraits with inspiration from Freda Khalo.

In Music, we will be learning how to compose our own rap music in the unit ‘Hey You’.

Thank you for supporting your child with their reading at home by hearing them read and sharing stories with them. 

Please make sure your child brings their books to school every day so we can hear them read and change their books.

Reminder:  we start our day at 8:20 with fun early morning activities to settle into the school day. We would love to see as many of you here as possible at this time to have a great start to the school day.
